STAAD Foundation Advanced is a specialized application for the analysis and design of concrete foundations. It helps structural engineers quickly model and design isolated, combined, strip and wall footings; mat/raft foundations; pile caps and piers; and machine foundations. The software combines purpose-built design modules with finite element analysis for mats to check stability, soil pressures, settlement, and reinforcement against multiple international design codes. It can import column and wall reactions from structural analysis models, automatically generate code-based load combinations, and optimize footing dimensions, pile layouts, and rebar. Engineers can produce detailed calculation reports, drawings, bar bending schedules, and quantity takeoffs to move efficiently from analysis to documentation. Additional capabilities include soil–structure interaction using spring supports, seismic and wind load design, dynamic/vibration checks for rotating equipment, and 3D visualization. Suitable for building, industrial, and infrastructure projects, it streamlines foundation workflows from preliminary sizing through final detailing.
STAAD Foundation Advanced is developed by Bentley Systems Inc. and is used by 3 users of Software Informer. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 6.2 and 7.0. The name of the program executable file is StaadFoundation.exe.
